Dr. Jeffrey B. Morris is a highly experienced and board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in microsurgery of the eye and laser vision correction. With 29 years of expertise, Dr. Morris has performed over 20,000 laser and intraocular surgeries, making him a LASIK/PRK certified surgeon and the first in San Diego to be certified in surgical contact lens implantation (ICL). His unique skills in Laser Refractive Surgery and Intraocular Lens Implantation (IOL) Surgery allow him to offer cutting-edge Smart Lens implants for cataract treatment and near vision restoration. Dr. Morris is also known for being the first on the West Coast to own and offer the Bausch & Lomb Victus Cataract Laser. His extensive experience includes thousands of cataract surgeries with various Smart Lenses. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Morris has an impressive background in public health, clinical research, and health policy. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Morris is also an avid sports fan who enjoys golfing and barbecuing, and he resides in North County San Diego with his wife and two dogs.
