George S. Hoffman, M.D. is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and glaucoma management. Recognized for his wide-ranging ocular expertise, surgical experience, along with his signature warm, and caring style with patients, Dr. Hoffman has maintained a successful practice in the Westlake Village area for over 30 years.
Dr. Hoffman received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He performed his internship at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, and completed his ophthalmology residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.
Dr Hoffman is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, as well as the Ventura County Ophthalmology Society. He also participated in the Surgical Eye Expeditions, doing volunteer surgery in undeveloped countries.
