A native Californian, he earned his medical degree from UCLA before completing an internship at the University of Hawaii. He then pursued residency training at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern, one of the nation’s most rigorous surgical programs, where he distinguished himself as Surgery Chief.

With years of experience serving patients in the Sacramento area, Dr. Fors has performed thousands of eye surgeries. He is especially passionate about cataract surgery, striving to deliver outstanding vision outcomes with the latest surgical advancements. Recognized by colleagues for his exceptional surgical expertise, he is equally known by his patients for his warm, approachable demeanor and commitment to truly listening to their concerns. Dr. Fors remains dedicated to enhancing the lives of his patients by restoring and optimizing their vision with precision and care.
Outside of work, Dr. Fors is the proud father of two children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children on the lake, in the mountains, or at the beach. These days, his weekends are mostly spent coaching or cheering on his kids in sports.
