Dr. Ankur Parikh is an ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and anterior segment care. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and received the Graduate Medical Trainee Award of Excellence.

Dr. Ankur Parikh is an ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and anterior segment care. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and received the Graduate Medical Trainee Award of Excellence.
Dr. Parikh graduated from his residency having completed the highest number of cataract surgeries in the history of the program. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) through an accelerated BS/MD program, graduating with honors and induction into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. Parikh has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications on cataract surgery, dry eye treatment, and residency training, and has presented his research at national conferences including ASCRS and AAO.
He’s also held leadership roles on committees focused on residency selection, curriculum evaluation, and departmental development. Dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Parikh is passionate about improving access to quality eye care. He has participated in international surgical missions, providing free cataract and oculoplastic surgeries to underserved communities. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, watching Cleveland sports (go Cavs and Browns!), listening to music, and exploring technology’s role in healthcare.
