Xiaolin Lynn Zhang, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical management of anterior segment related disorders.

Dr. Zhang, earned her medical degree in 2010 from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She then completed a Transitional Year Internship at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania and her Ophthalmology Residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. During her final year of Residency, she served as Academic Chief Resident. She returned to the East Coast to pursue a Fellowship in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery at Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Zhang has given talks and presented posters from research projects at national ophthalmology conferences. She has also authored multiple peer-reviewed articles regarding corneal diseases.

Dr. Zhang specializes in medical and surgical management of anterior segment related disorders. She is expertly trained to performed refractive, cataract, and corneal surgeries, including the newest partial thickness corneal transplant technique, Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK), for treatment of Fuchs’ Dystrophy.

Dr. Zhang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Cornea Society. She is fluent in Mandarin.
