Dr. Kelley prides himself on providing his patients with the latest technology and treatment options for their eye care with a personalized pproach to meet each person’s individual needs.
He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. Then, he earned his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, OH. While serving in the United States Air Force, Dr. Kelley completed a general surgery internship at the David Grant Medical Center located at Travis Air Force Base and followed that with his ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Kelley served with honor in the United States Military for 20+ years where he practiced as the Chief Ophthalmologist for both Keesler Air Force Base and Wright Patterson Air Force Base consecutively. He then moved to Alaska where he was the Chief of Ophthalmology and Refractive surgery at the Joint Base Elmendorf Richard Hospital for 4 years.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Kelley was an Associate Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas instructing residents until his return to Alaska where he continued to practice until his relocation to Southern California in 2019. He serves as a member of many professional associations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
In addition to his clinical pursuits, Dr. Kelley enjoys spending time with his family, many outdoor activities, and sports activities.
