Dr. Castillo comes from a family of successful doctors and his warm, compassionate care of patients and dedication to charity care has won numerous patients’ choice awards.
Dr. Castillo earned his Medical degree and Ophthalmology residency training in his home country at Asia’s oldest university, The University of Santo Tomas. He completed his fellowship in Cornea and External Disease/ Refractive Surgery at the University of Texas in Houston.
After training in the US, he returned to the Philippines to serve as Section Chief of Refractive Surgery, Eye Institute of the Royal Pontifical University Hospital of The University of Santo Tomas, where he also served as an Examiner for the Ophthalmology Specialty Board and as a Radio and TV personality on the Philippines’ Clinic-On-Air Radio/TV programs.
Noey and his wife, Teng have three active sons, which makes the Northwest an ideal place for a family with a passion for hiking, camping and water sports. He speaks English, Tagalog and conversational Spanish.
